Eat more. 1 meal a day isn't enough. Period. Even if it's just a small healthy protein bar or something of the sort instead of lunch, do that. I'd say make sure you have at least two meals a day.

Before I fighted Ol' Scratch Prestige told me to only have 5 buffs on when I fought him. So I had only 5 buffs on and he did not debuff me.
So next time you fight him, I suggest only have 5 or less buffs on.

I didn't calculate it for sure but i know i had at least 9 pudding fights today. At one point I got 6 in a row. I doubt that helps any but hey, 6 in a row!

Alright I just started my last run of HCO ascensions.
Seal Clubber I'm doing right now.
Then I need sauceror, pastamancer, and accordion thief.
I've got a monkey, lion, pixie, hobo, for familiars.
Any advice to make these runs go smoother and faster would be appreciated.

Now I don't know about everyone else, but isn't there a cap for elemental resistance? Get yourself an orange peel hat, astral shell, elemental saucesphere, and your good to go. I think adding anything extra to that would be non-benificial.

"Backfarming" I think, in general is the thing that needs fixing the most. In narrative sense, and in most other games, you find items that have absolutely no use to you at that time and you keep them anyways, just for the hell of it. It makes no sense whatsoever to be at an area at level ...

To elaborate on Mad Hamish's response, we're pretty just making guesses. We are trying to find something that fits all of skully's clues. Spading can only result in good things, even if we learn that the shrimp fork has nothing to do with bad moon runs, we know something not to try. Very, very true...
