Re: Grimstone Mask Content Omnibus

tempting the pair with laziness worked on my first portal visit, and again on my second, on a recent runthrough. Those are different parents, though. I meant that, within one session with the same parents, I don't think you can barter the same item twice. (Or, at any rate, there's at least a chance...

Here is a crude, basic script that causes proxy to burn all your turns in the illicit party, turning in hooch when you're within 1 of your max.

Max hooch

Some quick calculations on how max hooch affects chroner yields. Let: A = Chroners / Turn (from regular turns in zone) H = Hooch / Turn M = Max hooch It'll take M/H regular turns to get to max hooch, then you turn it in and get M/2 chroners. So chroners/cycle = (M/H) * A + 0.5 * M That'll take (M/H)...

I wrote a script for proxy that tracks the Lights Out! quest, and adds warnings in the same style as for semirares. Since the "Lights Out!" adventures don't take a turn, and are super-predictable, it might be worth doing Stephen's quest chain in run. (The last three steps require you to be L11, but that should be enough time to fit it in!)

The kitchen is looking like drawers searched = 1 + (resist/3)

Fractional part is rounded up randomly based on the fraction; so at 1 resist you have a 1/3 chance of getting 2 drawers searched?

Could it be as simple as the stew dropping from the 5th Evil olive / Taco cat? They're the two food-based monsters in the zone, after all. The formula needs to be multiplied by 891! / (881! * 10!). This is true if you want to calculate the chance of seeing a given %. Just plotting the data in excel and doing a linear fit gives:

Code: Select all

steal rate=1.0018 - 0.0993*N

where N is the number of turns waited.

It's true we need more data to rule out models other than just a linear relationship, but I'd be willing to bet that it's just 1-N/10.
