For what it's worth, I found #4 to be far preferable to #5, but then that's because I can't stand the Dany storyline. It seems like she's supposed to be some kind of eye candy for the reader, but (1) we can't see what she looks like; and (2) she's just a teenager, which makes the idea of ogling her...

TV show is one season per book so far. I watched the TV series before reading Game of Thrones and was shocked how close to the book it was - even some of the dialogues were taken directly from the book. I can recommend Strato (http://www.strato.de) for Webhosting, I do however not know if that one is availlable outside of Germany. Cost if you want PHP and SQL is about 5 Euro per month. I have read a LOT of bad things about 1&1, especially when you want out of the contract with them.

Hmm I read Interface a year or so ago and really liked it - until Stephenson screwed up the ending. The new one sounds interesting though - maybe I'll get when I have finished my William Gibson phase...

Hmm somehow the coin-operated things were the one thing I really liked in Ubik - they are not that far from what our industry would do if it could and provided a humorous tidbit. I think when I will think about this book in the future what I will remember is the door saying "I'll sue you".

Hmm as my company keeps giving out book vouchers for birthdays every year and I still need some book recomendations count me in - at least for a while :)

I used to play until the implementation of skill points I think - then stopped because my RL time just did not permit playing TH and KoL. Did you finally implement autoattack Preni? - that would save soo much time... *me bats eyelashes*
