Yup, I checked the mafia nc choices for the barrr and one was set for drunk/stats. Don't know how/when that happened. Generally speaking, you don't want to do that.

Re: Hardcore Ed Script Ascending
Ran into a problem on my current HCStd PM run. Day 2 was El Dia so I ended up banking a bunch of turns because the script was having trouble with combats. Started day 3 with something like 150 adv and fired up the script while I went out for a run. I came back to find it had ended the day by getting...

Using old chat seemed to fix the problem. Further testing appears to be moot as the new https login for kol may have solved the problem. I've been playing with modern chat since about a day after the switch and haven't had any issues yet.

Re: omgwtfbbq1234567890's 3/596 SCNP P. Help me improve!
Don't know that I really have anything to contribute to the conversation but wanted to say I picked up a few pointers that I can use for my own benefit. 1. rollerblades - I feel dumb for not realizing they were useful for modern zmobies. I usually only use my LLK for the moondial or necktie 2. Clove...

Re: Raccoon's thread of (mostly fiction) book reviews
I just finished, well, skimmed, really, Inventing Iron Man , which investigates the actual engineering, physics, and biology issues that would be involved in building a real life Iron Man suit. I'm a sucker for these "Science of [insert TV show/movie/etc.]" books, and while I was never a big Iron M...

Re: Getch's Sock Dance Combat Macro
Last I checked, a mimic was ~30m so buying one only for aftercore farming seems cost-prohibitive. I guess it will come down to seeing what is the best value for my meat as far as speed improvements. I may be better off buying a couple of other things before getting a mimic. I'll have to get some adv...

Re: Getch's Sock Dance Combat Macro
This looks pretty cool. I don't remember why I didn't buy a mimic when they were in the store. I'm thinking about buying one for use during runs and good meat during aftercore would be pretty handy. My main concern at this point is finding a source of candy that doesn't cost me several hundred/thous...

Re: KoL bumper sticker sighting
I saw a girl with a pink disco bandit shirt at the PA renaissance faire last year while I was standing in line. Didn't see her once I got inside though.

Re: KoL Phishing attempt
Thanks for the info.
How do I report just the domain? I tagged the email as a phishing attempt and I figured they would look at it and see how there was a difference between the two domains.

I'll have to remember to check it when I get home since KoL domain is blocked on my work computer.

Re: Phishing Emails (Sept 26th Announcement)
I also got this email on both of the emails registered for BC and PC. I was immediately suspicious as there is no reason to download software for a browser-based game. Not to mention Jick would have been dropping info on a major upgrade to the game.

KoL Phishing attempt
I'm sure this is probably being reported on the KoL forums but I can't check since my workplace blocks that domain. I checked my email this morning and had an email announcing the new and improved KoL with a download link. I was immediately suspicious as KoL is a browser-based game. Checking kol.col...

Re: Achievements Bulletin
Great puzzle. I got a chuckle out of my entry, especially since I didn't realize it was me.
