Since you're really pushing for daycount here, you'll probably just want to get lunchbox/wines over and over. No other semirare saves as many turns as those consumables generate over their replacements.

Liver is worth it if you need the generation to hit daycount, otherwise, it's not. It doesn't save as many turns as you might think, because skipping it leaves you at level 6.5 with little to do, often.

Armorcraftiness is worth it for the poncho, which also provides nice DA. The spiky turtle shield is probably not worth it, unless you are really having trouble killing things. It actually takes more than two turns to make, since you have to get the pieces, too. Empathy is worth it if you can afford ...

I have missed my valley sr several times because I either forgot to do pirates first, or I did pirates, but I fed my pirate outfit to my slimeling without having 60 myst to equip the fledges, and hadn't yet bought the dictionary. I also have fed my starting weapon to my slimeling without making my EW.

If you're just short of level six on day one, day two should be getting liver and filling your organs as quickly as you can so that you can bank for stat days. I generally end day two at level seven, then do goats, pirates, and start powerleveling.
