Re: Collections, anyone?

I wish I saw this before I cleaned out my inventory the other day ... but I think I have a few things I can still send to you guys. I collect broken carburetors, not something most people have on hand. I used to be number one, but the (now) number one guy jumped ahead by 100 + a while back (I'm call...

Re: Beers

I had New Belgium's La Folie at a brew pub here. Very interesting beer, unlike anything I had ever had. Very sour, but tons of great flavors. I just drank a New Belgium "Mighty Arrow" Pale Ale with my Chipotle burrito ... tasty! Their Hoptober is good as well - if you like the 'hoppy' taste. Oh yea...

Re: bmaher's SCB 3/550 DB Vole

reposted since I edited while someone answered my first question. I'm also curious about something else ... it looks like you went into the dugneons of doom and got a zap wand, then pulled rings and zapped them into keys. How did you manage that? Does zapping a boris ring get a boris key? And is thi...

Re: bmaher's SCB 3/550 DB Vole

Nice job. I was confused by your having 2 YR on day 1 (adv. 29 harem girl and then elite guard on turn 61), but I'm thinking that your disintigrating the elite guard in the treasury happened your first adventure on day 2 - even though the log shows it as day 1... ? I'm also curious about something e...

Re: Beers

My new favorite beer, brewed right here in Minnesota.

The Surly Furious is just incredible. I love that it comes in pint cans.

In fact, I think I'll pick up a few on my way home...

This is my favorite part ... that insightful information probably made all the difference.

Congrats!

Turtle Juice's SCNP AT Wallaby 3/612

Hi. While my runs are getting quicker, I still feel like my pulls are a bit of a mess on day 2 and 3 ... although in a 4 day it doesnt matter that much anymore. So any tips on 3 day pulls would be helpful. My main goal is to get my runs in under 600 adventures, any suggestions on areas that you thin...

Re: need some help speeding up mid-run

Chiming in with some SC thoughts: -- I use most of my absinthe here and a gong for roachform so that I can use the ML for the adding machine. I thought I read recently (although I forget if it was KoL Forum or here) that a using bander (and this may be a moot point if you don't have a bander) is be...

Re: Stuff you forget to do in a run

I invariably forget to set the Arena buff before I start in on the Nun sidequest. I like to forget this and Hoom Hah ... which sucks after the effort to make sure I have a scroll and 3 candles. My new strategy - text file with notes on what to do at appropriate moments...we'll see how that does thi...

Stuff you forget to do in a run

I'm curious what you guys forget to do ... I'm making a list to avoid this myself. What do you do to avoid dumb things like this? <-- this is what I really want to know, how you keep track of what to do. I just forgot to flyer in the pyramid (again) - after leveling, starting the war, I get caught u...

Re: Stinky cheese ball

Pro: 10 rollover adv (could take some pressure off turngen, maybe allow pulling 1 less air or something) Seriously? Have you figured what the loss of stat gains would be (assuming you have a bander) for those 100 adventures to get the 10 RO adventures? I have a hard time believing that not using ba...
