In hindsight, Copa America was much more entertaining than the Euros have been. The Copa America teams seemed like they were out for blood and were always going for the win. The Euros have been so timid and lots of teams looked like they were playing for the draw. But I'm not ever going to complain ...

Woo sours! I was recently fortunate enough to go to a couple of Mikeller bars in Copenhagen and got to try a few fresh sours on tap. I was really impressed. I've yet to see any Sour Mikeller options show up in New York.

I would argue that win, draw, loss is pretty respectable. And we were 30 seconds away from win, win, loss. So Landon didn't make the world cup squad. I know he's not in top form, but I was expecting him to at least lead from the bench. It's the end of an era.

His goal against Algeria in 2010 was my favorite soccer moment.

Watching the USMNT over the past several months hasn't left me with a whole lot of confidence.

The first 30 minutes or so of the USA v Mexico game briefly lifted my spirits, but in the end I was reminded that no one is near Michael Bradley in terms of quality and the back line is generally terrible.

Do you like theatre? There's great off-broadway stuff out there that you can see for relatively cheap. Luce is pretty good and only $20. Interesting NCAA-related news in the last couple of days.

While that's generally true, in 2002 Ohio State barely made it through the season undefeated and faced Miami in the NCG as 11.5 point underdogs. Granted, they barely made it through that game as well, but sometimes it's hard to judge teams that haven't played common opponents. Hopefully this problem...
