Why are you closeting bowling balls? Is there a speed run mechanic I am not aware of? You will always get the noncombat if you have a bowling ball in your inventory, so if you have limited turn banishes (like a louder than bomb) and want to make sure you get all the bowling balls before you encount...

The biggest piece of advice I can offer (aside from specific run stuff) is to not be discouraged by those mistakes.

Have you considered switching your YR's around and YRing a snowman day 1 to pick up the pail? You don't have the ninja stars as a tower item, but it is 1 turn and decent stats day 1. It was something that was brought up somewhere else and has stuck in my mind.

The hat from the mariachi is what makes it optimal in Moxie HCNP - 3 moxie substats per combat is nothing to sneeze at! In fact, its probably worth a fax even if you end up not using the fairy aspect of it.

Fax machine is cool. I like it, I'm working hard on chaining 5 day HCNP myself.

Reuse the pots and pans in any way that does not heat. For example, flat griddles (like the kind used for pancakes) make excellent trays, and frying pans have any number of uses that don't require cooking.

It totals your uses (say, 15 slashes 15 spooky 5 sleazy) and it rolls 1dN and selects randomly from that.
