So an area can give from 1 to 6 kisses per kill. With 0 elements banished, you get 1 kiss; with all elements banished, you get 6 kisses. So if you banish all 5 elements, what are you fighting? Do all elements come back? Also, I assume that the non-combat to banish an element is only once per instanc...

Re: Preliminary L8 Quest Knowledge

Check out blisterguy's link to the kolspading thread. They dumped all of weas' data into a chart, and the first thing that popped out is a 100% chance of encountering assassins on turns 11, 21, and 31. Interesting stuff. Draco, I like the new formulas. Yeah, for 3 assassins, the difference between +1% and +25% is ~1.6 turns? That's a lot less than I had expected.

Re: TSO's HCNP DB Vole (In Progress!) [Feedback Desired!]

I created a 'hit points' tab and a 'resistance' tab in inventory, and moved stuff into those that helps with each. Then when I'm ready to do A-Boo, I just go to those two tabs and use what's in them. Easier than trying to remember every +resistance and +HP buffing item in the game.

Re: TSO's HCNP DB Vole (In Progress!) [Feedback Desired!]

The issue at hand for me this run, I suppose, was my lack of HP. Even with 12 Spooky Resistance and 14 Cold resistance, I was still taking too much damage, such that I'd lose out on the 4th exploration of a clue. That said, I can see how this should be working out easily in future runs. It's a deli...

Whether or not to risk the He-Bo is a choice you'll have to make. I will say I have never had the yellow ray take so long to come up that all three forms broke out of noodles and I got beaten up. Question 1: How can I more dependably stun/use He-Bo to free up tome summon? Perm Entangling Noodles. It's a 2-3 round stun that costs 3MP. You can use it at the start of any fight that you won't one-shot kill the opponent. The amount of healing it saves you is insane. It also lets you take out opp...

The peak starts at 98%. With three clues, you've got to cover that last 8%, which is four combats. It's pretty easy to get your third clue within those four combats. More than once, I've gotten all three clues within those four combats and saved the clover. Clover twice: 2 turns (plus two clovers) +...

Confirmed that walking away makes it not use a turn. Don't know if that's deliberate or not, so this may not be something that lasts. Finishing the peak (i.e. getting down to 0% haunted) does cause it to use a turn, though, regardless of which test you were on. That is, pass four tests and walk away...

If you're just not generating the turns you need, I would say take a step back and try a run with Stomach.
