I don't know if this is what you're experiencing, but in the past I have sometimes found that mafia is casting buffs that I'm not expecting each adventure after I finish an automated run. If you go to Preferences->Automation, look for any of CC's automation scripts that may not have been cleared out...

I'm not an expert, but I believe that abort for spending more than 50 adventures somewhere is only checking your "last adventure" location. In the past, the few times I ran into that abort, finishing that zone manually and then adventuring once somewhere else let it continue automation. In this case...

Love gnats gets weaker with usage, unless I'm wrong about that behavior. I suppose that is more important during the beginning of the run though so it might be a good idea. The main pulls I'd recommend at this point is up to 4 scrip since they save 3 turns each. Are you familiar with "delay" in general? There's just some encounters that can't occur before X encounters in a zone (i.e. the haunted gallery painting noncombat can't occur until you've had 5 other encounters...

Scrip are often great pulls. As lost says, they're better than tomb ratchets.
And yea, 35% beer pong is swingy, but so is getting the 7th insult. 35% at beer pong is 2.9 expected attempts while 62% is 1.6 expected attempts, and getting the 7th insult is expected to take longer than the difference.

But there's a limit of using 20 power pills per day, and you can pull that many, so might as well go for a low turncount while you're at it. But yes, SC gold will likely require 20 power pills a day.

Also, doing the filthworms before the battlefield is nice if you're trying to get the most out of item% potions like cyclops eyedrops and the frost flower. That makes it easier do the filthworms with as much +item% as you can find, and then any leftover turns of those potions might help find boo-clu...

The Mountain Man ( http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Mountain_man ) was added for Avatar of Boris runs, and since it can be copied, it's sometimes a nice way of dealing with ore in other paths too. He can drop up to two of each ore. 1 of each is 40% drop rate, the other is 10% drop rate....

Lash does work for evil eyes, but I don't believe it works for blasting soda/vinegar. Kale was saying talismans help with those, which I believe.
