I did forget in my earlier post that you'll usually have a pilgrim shield if you're running a katana, which adds +15 damage; still, doesn't change the analysis much. Is the 'power' element your mainhand weapon only, or is it always the katana's power? e.g. is it lower if you have the katana in your offhand and a seal club in your main, or higher if you have the katana in your offhand and a Hodgman's whackin' stick in your main? Yeah, I think Hobopolis has distracted just about everyone from how good this is. On a sombrero (now that the formula is solved, yay!), the 5 lbs is often a full stat point at decent ML (I say often because of the flooring), making it 2.5 stats vs. 3 stats from lips. That's only maybe 200 stats on a...

I just wish the staff pieces did something, possibly something quite powerful; then it might matter what order you did the chunks in, and gives a reason to look forward to completing each chunk. Especially since you have to lose these powerful items to make further progress, leading to more interest...

The dreadlock whip has a minimum muscle requirement; only 5, but not being able to equip it turn one seems to offset some bonus damage.

That table doesn't seem to make sense, if MV is just total casts this ascension capped at 100, or your previous definition of total casts divided by 20 capped at 5, since the image number and adjective change throghout the day even when growth is maxed. For those tables, do you actually mean MV = (A...

Just to clarify understanding of that formula, the X used in MV is number of summons this ascension, whereas the X in the meat bonus formula is number of summons that day, right? Might want to use different variables for the two, say A for this ascension, D for this day. So, MV = A/20 (Floored? Ceil...

Has anyone ever examined the data from the perspective of the chance of a rare being dependent on the number of casts, as opposed to the number of rares? I'd be curious to see what that looked like...

You can collect pretty flowers. It is a trackable items, as are ascensions in your history log. I believe feng's point against flowers and ascensions is that collection makes more sense if someone can at least theoretically "have them all"; it's more collector-like to say I have X things ...

I do think both the collector's score and the only-still-obtainable-collector's score have merit, but it's easier to get people to buy into the score as-is because the numbers are right there in game. I do think it can be interesting to add P and/or HP skills into the mix, as that's another capped n...

Couldn't that mess up the balance of stars/lines vs. charts (the ascension astronomer balance), though? I don't know if anyone's actually looked at that, and it certainly varies with a person's item bonus; but if the goal is just to fix the bounty, lowering the required items from 6 to 5 should do t...

If you're going Mr.-less, I'd imagine you'd want a good ol' hippo whip, too. Mr.-less probably increases the usefulness of the Yendorian outfit, too. Maybe even the extra-large palm-frond toupee for a Moxie run if you don't have a pith? Unless you're just not mentioning items that cheap; I guess I'm...

That does make me wonder about Saucy Salve; if the cast is 'free', does she still have the ability to block it? And if so, does it then use up your turn (i.e. can she act)?
