The latest guesswork I've seen indicates that it carries over, unless you get a mask drop, then further turns that day don't count for the next day.

Lacking both an organ grinder and a happy medium makes it a lot harder to fill your liver and stomach. I filled 4 stomach and I think 10 liver with those in my latest run, and barely made it through without using a spice melange.

Apparently the dowsing rod is only 3% exploration when you are hydrated, otherwise it's 1%. According to G-D at least, but it would explain 1% from the first turn.

In softcore, a fancy oil painting lets you go with a skeleton garden and a snow machine, letting you make 1 snow board to go with the painting.

It looks like people will have to get a bunch of data on how the dousing rod affects page finding (if at all).

Did you not fax anything day 2? A decent option would have been faxing and copying a skinflute to save some time opening HitS and getting bad monster distribution, as long as you can get +233% item to cap the drops. Especially since you also didn't have a good use for your day 2 copies.

As a starting comment, KoL doesn't make it possible to reliably track all free retreats. As I recall, there is no message if you use a free runaway in Dis or the Haiku Dungeon.

It's possible that some of the people that posted here would be up for helping out, if an updated log parser gets going.

The Shore Scrip are not good pulls.
In a 4+ day run, for someone that doesn't have skeletons for their campground, I disagree. 3 turns saved per pull is pretty good. Even in a 3 day run they seem pretty good, as long as you aren't pulling a pile of blank-out.

You would be a lot better off faxing the art teacher and using the reanimator on it, since that fight gives a lot of stats and 1 of each zone drop....

There probably is something weird going on, since Manuel lists 10k HP out-of-combat. Don't bother buffing muscle, just throw some crayon shavings at the gladiator boss. Five of those, plus one sea lasso, should make the fight trivial to end with normal attacks.

I use Blue Balls, Indigo Cup, Blend, and then spam Boil. Grill (and no Blue Balls/Blend) vs Oil Peak due to them ignoring stuns and hitting hard. Chop if the enemy resists hot. I think the blessed large box numbers also assume you have a large box to start with (to make the blessed box), and it looks like it also misses that you can just use the large box that you must already have to try getting through the gate (with the same assumption that getting drunkenness is okay)....

Confirmed that walking away makes it not use a turn. Don't know if that's deliberate or not, so this may not be something that lasts. -You're better off just flyering the battlefield than actually going to pointless areas to flyer.
You can't flyer on the battlefield, so that leaves pointless areas (probably spookyraven, or junkyard for the highest ML monsters available), or pulling a bricko airship.

Lacking +weight skills, you should probably just stick with a volleyball rather than trying to switch. By the time you get to monsters with decent ML, your volleyball will be noticeably heavier than the sombrero you would be switching to. The math from there is complicated by your sombrero initially...

I actually disagree with using NPZR chem sets so early on when there are a lot of other major things to work on. If you aren't switching familiars for the current quest, then grouping quests together to make good use of the +combat and -combat potions probably won't happen. I would suggest not using...
