Pyramid, Wheels and Ratchets with Banishing (Boris and Zomb)

Post by lotsofphil » Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:19 am

For snax,

Turns per middle chamber wheel = 1/(.3+NC)
Turns for wheel and banish in upper chamber = 3
Ratchets per turn w/o tangle = .2*(1+items)
Ratchets per turn w/ tangle = .6*(1+items)

items is in decimal form (e.g., +140% items ==> 1.40)
items is capped at 4.00
NC is in decimal form (e.g., -25% NC ==> .25)

So, turns per pyramid assuming you don't have enough tangles or +items to do it all w/ ratchets (and that you find the wheel before running out of tangles):
Ratchets = tangles*.6*(1+items)
3 + tangles + (10-ratchets)/(.3+NC)

How much +items to make ratchets better than wheel turns?
(11-ratchets) / (.2*(1+items)) = (10-ratchets)/(.3+NC)
25% NC: 5*[(11-ratchets)/(10-ratchets)*.55 - .2] = items
Say you get 3 ratchets from your tangles, items = 2.14
Say you get 6 ratchets from your tangles, items = 2.43

20% NC: 5*[(11-ratchets)/(10-ratchets)*.5 - .2] = items
Say you get 3 ratchets from your tangles, items = 1.86
Say you get 6 ratchets from your tangles, items = 2.12

The "How much +items to make ratchets better than wheel turns?" ignores that you can save a turn if you use a ratchet before wheel shows up.
