Combat rate in the L9+ Hippy Camp

This is where you spade, shovel and sickle. Or is it reap?

Combat rate in the L9+ Hippy Camp

Post by lotsofphil » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:23 pm

There are some noncombats in the hippy camp that give the outfit pieces. They show up once you are Level 9 or above. This can be useful if you don't have a he-boulder or can't use one (like in the Type 2 contest).

It looks like the base combat rate is 85%. I ran 103 turns and got 15 noncombats with -10% combat running. Looks like another thing to do after setting the song.

One thing to keep an eye on is that the NCs *do not* show up if you have the outfit. I wasted 200 turns figuring that out.

Slightly more verbose data is at this thread: http://kolspading.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=108

Also useful to know if you need to yellow ray for the outfit and are putting it off until you're level 9+ for some reason (e.g., pathed run, though there may be other cases as well).

Thanks lop!

I never ray the hippies before level 9, even in NP.

At any rate, this is good to know, I'll start throwing on +combat for that too.

I am glad it might be useful in non-non-he-bo cases.

I got a clue and ran some turns at +15% combat. No noncoms, so that adds some corroboration.
