Hello all.

After some wonderful advice, here's a much improved run.

A few weird choices. I had old mafia so Bram messed up my semi-rare counter. I blew the new fortune cookie counters in the limerick just in case, but they ended up being the wrong one and I get the SR on day 2.

This was a really bad section of my run.
F'c'le - I'm used to cyclops and getting all 3 first time, this was my first run without it and it was not great.
Penult - Not sure if this is standard, it felt really long. I was running -25% (smooth/sonata/bram/ballroom song/submarine). Olfacted the first healer I saw. Didn't get mohawk or umbrella, only 2 SGEEA I believe. YR a normally hippy in here. In retrospect, a bad idea because I learned I can rain man the two spys instead.
Castle - Again, not sure if just really bad RNG. 11 turns to get the amulet NC in the basement. Then 21 turns to get NCs in the top floor, most at -25% with the last bit at -20%. Did 6 turns in the basement again to get tardigrade for thunderstrike (unnecessary in retrospect, can get it in pyramid).

Overall this section just felt really bad.

[715] Sorceress Tower: Naughty Sorceress [25,65,36]
Handsomeness potion was the one I needed. Also, I made the blessed box and just chugged potions (left myself enough liver not to over drink in case).
No luck on a skimmed guitar so just smithed the banjo.
Tower 5 was frigid ninja stars so I just used the mud there and took the guaranteed 3 turn tower 6.
OVERALL STUFF/LEARNINGS

This run felt amazing. With the few tips from you guys I was able to cut almost 200 turns off my previous run and get my 3 day with ~50 to 60 turns to spare.
Things that are worth improving (I've already implemented these in my current run):
Better day 1 food - Managing turn count to get day 1 hi-mein. Preferrably with milk of mag.
Still better food/booze - Especially booze, I've been drinking speakeasy because it's easy, but medium booze is better because I never need the stats and I need to save speakeasy for lucky lindys.
Unlock song earlier.
Better f'c'le/lvl 10 quest. Not really sure what I need to do here, I felt like I had pretty good fam management but maybe I misplayed something.

I'm pretty happy but at this point, I'm not really sure what to be aiming for other than consistently managing 3 days (I've already messed some stuff up in my current run).

If anyone has any tips/advice on what I'm still doing wrong it would be wonderful, and I'll post my next run which I tried to take a bit more to heart in another 2 days.

First of all, awesome run!

Secondly, here's some stuff that I noticed:
It looks like you did a lot of zones that need -combat% prior to setting the song and being able to equip the choker, so you may want to consider reordering your early quests.

A jung man would save ~10 turns farming pixels (morbid skulls in the crackpot mystic's psychoses).

Instead of faxing the frat sergant and war hippy hippy spy, you could've just faxed the frat spy and used the desert noncombat (found by closeting all your war outfit pieces after starting the war) for the war hippy outfit.

Fwiw, the immateria+sock NCs on the airshit only show up after at least 5/10/15/20/25 encounters, so yours wasn't that long (in fact, it was quite fast!).

I'd focus on being able to consistently cap 30% drops (i.e. +233.34% item) in future runs so you don't need to rely on things like cyclops eyedrops in the f'c'le.

The quantum mechanic doesn't need a YR; its large box is a 40% drop, so you just need +150% item to cap it.

Your consumption seems fine. If you're going for lower turncount 3 dayers, I'd recommend getting a mushroom patch and eating more reagent pasta. Hi mein is only really needed for 2 dayers and adds +1 turncount if you're using a chef-in-the-box.

A goth kid would save something like 15-21 turns, so it's probably the best thing you can buy to cut turns (they're really cheap!). A hound (and fire ant) would also help some with your +item% problems. (don't bother getting a steamleader; it's not much better than a hound.) A spleen fam could be used to generate some more turns, but if you're hitting 3 days without it, then I'm not sure it's worth any amount of meat and/or money.

It's very surprising how few +ML/stat buffs you're running; I'd recommend perming and using those in the future, too.

Congrats on hitting your 3-day goal!

Here's a few quick observations from me as well:
* Use banishers. You have Nanorhino which never saw any action this run. Also, you might consider making some Louder Than Bombs instead of pitchers if you can take the turngen hit.
Edit: I stand corrected, you used thunder clap 12 times. Still, you have even more banish resources at your disposal which you can use in addition or instead of thunder clap.

* Consider eating a ghost dog + 2 hell ramens on day 1. This way you can run a bit more -combat if you are forced to spend turns in the friars' zones while waiting for the faxed desks to show up. You can drink a lucky lindy to get your SR counter.

* Speaking of SRs, HR doesn't need that many since you can fax Baa'baa'bu'ran and you don't want to be mining. So if you switch to reagent pasta as yojimbos_law suggested, you can just force the 1-2 SRs you need with optimal dogs and avoid eating fortune cookies and drinking lindys.

* Try to spend the rain monster windows in 4-depth areas to get catfish whiskers. Suitable zones where you'd be spending at least several turns are the spookyraven 2nd floor, spookyraven basement and the barrr. Catfish whiskers are quite handy to have for Hole in the Sky, Hidden Bowling Alley, Middle Chamber (if using tangles) as well as when faxing and/or YRing a monster for non-100% drops.

* Make sure to save enough rain and have your YR off cooldown by the time you hit the Lair gates. This way you clover for gum and fax + YR an irrate mariachi for guitar, or clover for stone banjo and fax + YR a handsome mariachi/mariachi calavera, depending on what you need for the second gate. The net effect is that you don't have to save a clover for a guitar and you don't have to set foot in SotB unless you need Meleegra.
