Once upon a time a long time ago I made it to the NS tower on the 8th day of a DB run.

Five years later DBs are nothing like they used to be(DB used to be the fastest class in Bad Moon), every class can survive Bad Moon with ease now, cheap imported beer is barely worse than ACs and stuff in the later quests is better than searching half the kingdom for bottles of booze, fruits and mixers and plus besides the point most everyone uses a DB run to get their black cat head-ache over with.

so the DB speed run is pretty much unheard of.

For my last run I proved something that seemed simple, that saucerors could do 8 day BM runs without a holiday. For my next trick I decided to do something that seems impossible.

8 day DB, I could've tried 8 day non holiday(NH) AT, which is probably the 2nd most possible class that could do an 8 dayer NH, but I've done an 8 day AT run before, twice and a 7 and a 6. Not much for me to prove to myself with AT.

going DB feels like going back to the old school.

So here we go: like always, comments welcome and appreciated, I don't know everything about Bad Moon, I just pretend like I do.

BM db run... Are you sure about not perming any skills? Yes, I don't need permed skills in BM...

I'm not sure about the "odds" of the wand exploding, the wiki says that the messages all appear before the wand explodes and the last one shows up twice. Meaning that it can be used 5 times per day without breaking?

I'm probably just going to keep using it 3 times per day until it breaks or until someone spades it properly.

I finished the crypt up to the bosses, I'll probably leave them there awhile and get higher stats completing most of the level 8 quest.

At level 9 I might want... no I need to get the hippy outfit from non combats so that I can get fruit for ACs. Only bottles of booze I can see in my future is boxed wines(from non lion oil dropping whitey's grove) and 99 bottles of rum from the pirates... plus the 3 I already have.

Seems silly now considering that in 1 day I'll be at level 10 hopefully in the castle getting better booze from the giants..

Those are the breaks though, pasta and DBs problems are that food / booze isn't dropped into their laps, nevermind the turns it takes to craft the slightly better than what I can find food/booze in BM...

My next SR is showing up 197 turns after the last one. Probably be a lunchbox?

Power went out while I was running turns, results notes got lost(for a few days since I didn't save my document after each day... a mistake I will probably never make again).

Today I had no incentive to write stuff down either, I have to go to sleep soon and work a double tomorrow in less than 8 hours...

All I can say is this:

NS Quest? 50 turns ? I really don't have a grasp on how long the "new" quest takes... I have the knife, bee hive, all the keys except the one I'll get in the DD(which I already marked down my turns for). I have iniiative to get 2nd place probably, no idea on the other two, I did mess up and forget to start the Elizabeth Quest(+25 prismatic damage from the paintbrush) after killing Stephen( all I have to do is /loe - masco but I forgot, maybe I should make a timer to remind myself in my /los2 macro(?) los2 is the 2nd macro for stephen that start when wine cellar lights out is over... Wall of meat? 2-3 turns maybe idk, I have a chaun so, finding the wand of nagamar in the cemetary(I have no choice as I didn't get any of the letters from the castle and obviously I don't have an N), I can't see getting all those things taking less time than the cemetary plus, PvP mini this season for getting the wand adventure... yeah I know I should be optimal 100% of the time... but if I have the turns to finish the run does it really matter? There's never been an 8 day DB non holiday run.

150 turns total tomorrow, I should be able to generate close to 200 so piece of deluxe layer cake right?
