Awesome indeed.

May I offer this as a future hosted option. It needs formatting etc but it ties in with the rest of the board.

Congratulations to everyone who posted a personal best run since July 1st. We had a whopping 36 people set new personal records! There can be only one winner each month though, and chatbot has deemed Bleary this month's achievement bulletin winner! Congratulations Bleary, you'll receive your 2 million meat prize shortly.

Make sure to keep the achievements spreadsheet updated because next month we're not going to allow as much time to add in people who were left off the spreadsheet. It's in your best interest to help us keep the spreadsheet up to date!

But wait, there's more!

Next month's bulletin will include more than just personal best runs! That's right, we're also going to recognize people for being extra hearty, spadey, or diamondy. If you see someone doing something extra awesome, send me or JP a kmail to let us know. We'll include both personal bests and nominated achievements in the next bulletin and award another 2 million meat winner.

Congratulations again to everyone!

Ok, take 2. Try this -

http://www.alliancefromhell.com/achievements.php

I have also added it to the menu of *most* of the board styles, you should see a clickable link called 'Achievements' (it is in a different place per style unfortunately).

D.

P.S. Thacon, I will try and catch you in game to discuss how you want to go forwards with this.

It's October, so that means two things - summer is over (unless you're in the southern hemisphere, in which case, yay, winter is over!) and it's time yet again to recognize our awesome clannies for their achievements. Sham's impromptu FoJ contest resulted in a number of personal bests and the reintroduction of the Navel Ring mechanic meant that everyone now has access to those free runaways. (Everyone in SC, at least.) So with that said, on to the achievements:

http://uxux.org/achievements

(You can view the previous achievements bulletin by appending the month and year with an underscore to achievements. For example, last month's is http://uxux.org/August2010_achievements)

Again, please let me or JP know right away if we've accidentally left out your run. We'll do the prize roll tomorrow.

Chatbot rolled an 11 (That's ridiculous. It's not even funny.) and Jesusisagurl is this month's winner. Congratulations, Jesusisagurl!

Remember, you can nominate a clannie for recognition in the bulletin if you see them doing something awesome. It's not just for personal best runs. Just send a kmail to me or JP to let us know.

It's November. The air is crisp, Mr. Store is filled with pumpkins, and it's time to recognize the great achievements from October. This month was dominated by HC runs and lots of clannies put up impressive personal bests. We also had a couple of nominations this year, so yay for that. Remember, if you see anyone doing anything (hearty, spadey, diamondy, even clubby) that you think deserves recognition, just let me know.

Once again, one lucky person from the list will receive a 2m meat prize for being so awesome. We'll do the roll tomorrow, so let me (or JP) know as soon as possible if we left your run off the list.

So with that said, on to the achievements

(You can view the previous achievements bulletin by appending the month and year with an underscore to achievements. For example http://uxux.org/August2010_achievements)

Also: Special thanks to TE for helping out with this month's recognitions.

Great writeups, guys! Thanks for doing these, it's cool to see what everyone is up to and celebrate how fast folks are (looking in your direction, sham).

I was somewhat surprised to see my name in the bulletin at all, since I didn't think I'd done anything particularly noteworthy last month. And then my surprise quickly turned to shame. 8/1090 HCNP! Eww. I'm going to have to do better for the November newsletter!

Look out, deer.

Durr... whoops. I got all busy and completely forgot to roll for the winner. Congratulations to Cieka. He made it into this month's bulletin on the strength of his first 3-day SCNP and now he's 2m meat richer.

Remember, we're not just looking to recognize people for personal best runs. (Although that's a big part of it) We also want to share people's accomplishments in spading, heartiness, puns, or whatever strikes your fancy. If someone makes you smile, laugh, or go woah, let me know and we'll include them in next month's bulletin.

Thanks to everyone who has kmailed, forum PMed, or blue messaged me to let me know about missing runs. Just to clarify, TE and I put this together based almost entirely on kmails from you and the entries in the achievements spreadsheet. The best thing you can do to ensure your runs are included is to keep your line in the spreadsheet up to date. We do our best to make sure we include everything, but pathed runs in particular are easy to miss. And lastly, we base most of the bulletin off of personal best runs, but if you're especially proud of a run that isn't your fastest, just let us know. We want to make sure you get recognized! We also appreciate nominations and bribes. Definitely bribes.

All that said, join me in congratulating Sambal on winning this month's prize roll.

December is in the record books... and it's time to recognize the many accomplishments of AFH/k! The December Achievements Bulletin can be found at:

[link] http://uxux.org/achievements

In addition, Quamperleaks believes that the anonymity of journalistic endeavors is warranted in almost all instances. HOWEVER... the namesake wishes to add to our December accomplishment list by publicly acknowledging the creative force behind what has to be the best CCB effort in the Kingdom. See Thacon's custom title for further details. =)

It may be worth pointing out here that I should, in fact, not be boxing Rocky Balboa; I am more like 5' 11'', have never boxed, and weigh more like 140 lb. Also, I get the feeling that the fact that I have had a hole drilled in my skull would make me rather unsuitable for boxing!

Woo, new bulletin. Congratulations everyone on another great month!

We're trying something new this month. The plan is to have the achievements bulletin always be available at alliancefromhell.com/achievements.php

You can still view the current and any previous achievements bulletin at uxux.org/MonthYear_achievements. For example uxux.org/August2010_achievements

Great job everyone, we had a lot of achievements to report in January. We had so many, in fact, that Eevilcat's impressive BM S run fell through the cracks. I've added her line to the bulletin at uxux.org/achievements and it should be up on the alliancefromhell link soon. This is important because I just did our prize roll and Eevilcat won! So join me in congratulating Eevilcat and everyone else for another great month.

Hahahahaha Instalite's entry is great. And don't be afraid to make jokes about me!

Achievement bulletin time again! Congratulations to everyone posting great runs in February.

We're changing things up again this month. The current bulletin is available at uxux.org/achievements

After the dust settles and everything is final, it will also be hosted at alliancefromhell.com/achievements.php

And you can now see the index of all prior bulletins at uxux.org/achievement_index.htm

ETA: If you had a personal best run in February, you're at least level 2, and we forgot you, please send a kmail to me or TE and we'll add you in. Sorry about that. The best thing you can do to make sure you're included each month is to keep your line in the achievement spreadsheet up to date.

I groaned at the impressied, but Alien Tits had me grinning. Then the pictures. OH MY GOD THE PICTURES. That was awesome. I believe the best yet (if that's believable).   I immediately checked if wm.gif would work as an avatar on the forum. So awesome, too awesome for here.

On another note, phil, did you really name your stocking mimic after yourself? Vanity, thy name is vanity.

Yes, the Stocking Mimic mimic-ed me and is called LotsOfPhil (hat tip to snark :) )

Awesome as always. Quamper's pictures are excellent.

edit: also, the mimic sharing my name is quite confusing at times.

Nice! Fun to read and good to see people about in my range, as well as the super impressive 2- and 3-day runs.

The March Achievements Bulletin is ready!

The current bulletin is available at http://uxux.org/achievements

And you can now see the index of all prior bulletins at http://uxux.org/achievement_index.htm

This edition was a bit of a challenge to pull together due to the recent issue with KoLB updating delays. Please let Thacon or me know if we missed or misstated something due to this.

Congratulations, everybody!
