Tavern Blocker (greasemonkey script)
Based on some of the conversations around here, and my fear of screwing it up myself eventually, I decided to make a script to prevent accidentally going to the Tavern. The script simply changes the post-quest tavern link to send you to the main page instead of to the tavern. Specifically:
*This script will block you from accidentally adventuring in the post-quest Tavern.
*This script will block you from intentionally adventuring there, say for beer lenses.
---This means you have to disable the script to get beer lenses, and you have to re-enable it afterward.
*This script will NOT prevent you from going to the pre-quest Tavern. This means that softcore people can turn it on and forget about it.
*This script will NOT do anything about you going there during Teleportitis.
*This script will NOT prevent you from using the Last Adventure link to go there again after getting beer lenses, though I think it would be simple to add that if people really want that feature.
The script can be downloaded here.

So you tried clicking on the post-quest tavern, and it actually adventured there? It should still be a link, it just goes somewhere completely different. The script is only a few lines, so I'm not even sure where something could go wrong, and I've tested it every way I can think of (with and without mafia).

I can't reproduce that issue. The script doesn't run on that page (rats.php). Even when it does (after changing that to test), it has no effect. I was able to log out and log back in and still see those images.
Check that the images show up when you aren't using this script maybe?

I clicked two squares with the script active, neither was replaced. I turned it off, then all remaining squares were replaced. So I'm pretty sure it was a bug for me.lostcalpolydude wrote:I can't reproduce that issue. The script doesn't run on that page (rats.php). I also figured it shouldn't happen there, so I'm not sure what was going on. One of us could make a new character to figure it out (since it needs an open tavern).

It took about 1 minute, so here's Artist Blocker.

I'm pretty sure no one cares, but I updated it so that this won't be a problem. Yay for trivial reasons to learn new stuff? So Very Invisible wrote:Just taking a quick look at the source, snarfblats aren't up in the 250s yet, right?
