I would prefer to wait for a more complete tool to be released before having a link to it.

Ahh, I see. The big ole "Alliance From Hell" link at the top goes to /index, instead of /portal. If we want people to use the portal we should probably change that.

I didn't even realize there was a portal until this thread.

I have changed the link to the portal page now.

I have www.alliancefromhell.com set to open the portal.php webpage by default, the one thing I cannot change is if people have index.php bookmarked.

Funny, I've been avoiding this thread because I thought it was about the game Portal.

Portal is pretty awesome. I thought it had to be overrated but got it while it was free on steam, and it was a great way to spend a couple hours.

Dangit, it was free on Steam? I played the Flash version and that was pretty fun.

Neato. I'll have to check that out. Does it come bundled with the card, or do you get a free download, or what?

The bottom of this page says :

Portal >> Board index >> Welcome! >> Suggestions / Complaints

Portal and Board index both link to portal.php. Is this intended?

Not intended. When I get the time (I am currently travellign with work) I need to split out the one variable that is assigned to both the 'Board Index' breadcrumb and the URL that is assigned to the 'big ole' Alliance From Hell.

Since there is a link to Stu's SC guide... perhaps links to the HC Skill/Familiar Analysis pages on the wiki?

Aren't those basically garbage? Or did that change at some point?

Pretty sure they got overhauled (by p4n1q and RottingFlesh, I think?) a few months ago. They''re definitely a lot better than they used to be.

The HC Skill one has been majorly overhauled during the past year, it's actually pretty damn good now. The Familiar one has also undergone a huge upgrade, still not finalized, but it's also something HC players should use.

The Hardcore Familiar page looks good. I'll trust that the Skill page is good. Then I look at the bottom of the page and see an Ascension Strategy template, and I expect that some of those will get cleaned up eventually. I don't really want too many links in that space. The softcore link is nice because everything follows from a single link.
